Bee-Cause We Care: About Honey Bees

A simple and humorous story to raise awareness of the plight of honey bees.

Betty and Benny excitedly set off to the field of sunflowers, but soon discover something that will endanger their hive family and they must figure out a way to stop it. How will they solve their problem? Of course, ask the farm animals to help! Bee-Cause We Care is a fictional children's picture book with an underlying message of raising awareness of a global issue. My target audience will be children between 2 1/2- 6. I see parents, teachers, and grandparents reading Bee-cause We Care and taking advantage of a teachable moment. The rhyming verses are catchy and the illustrations are endearing.
