About the Author

Natasha Ginwala is associate curator at large at Gropius Bau, Berlin, and artistic director of Colomboscope in Sri Lanka. Her curatorial catalog includes Contour Biennale 8, Documenta 14, and survey exhibitions of Bani Abidi, Akinbode Akinbiyi, and Zanele Muholi at Gropius Bau. Ginwala writes regularly on contemporary art and visual culture and has coedited volumes such as Stronger than Bone (2021) and Nights of the Dispossessed: Riots Unbound (2021).
Sarnath Banerjee is the author of the graphic novels Corridor, The Barn Owl's Wondrous Caper and The Harappa Files. He currently runs an advertising agency that campaigns for out-of-fashion political ideas, outdated celebrities and out-of-favour social trends.
Adania Shibli, novelist, essayist, and playwright, has twice received the A.M. Qattan Foundation's Young Writer Award-Palestine. She is also the author of We Are All Equally Far From Love (Interlink). Her latest novel, Minor Detail, was a finalist for the National Book Award and longlisted for the 2021 International Booker Prize.
