DescriptionIt's okay to have emotions, big and small. The Badgie & Ming series gives kids relatable solutions to everyday feelings. Badgie is angry! He is so angry he wants to build a tent where he can go and feel super angry. His friend, Ming, wants to play. Badgie is too angry to play. Ming helps Badgie build his angry tent and then waits for him to calm down. Sometimes our feelings feel really big. Sometimes we need to let those feelings get smaller. Having a safe place to feel our feelings is as important as having a friend who will wait with us while we do it.

About the Author
Julia is a mother of three (for a while three-under-three) who provide her with daily inspirations and just a few frustrations. She's traveled the world and has lived in five different countries with Egypt as one of her favorites. Julia is eternally grateful to her supportive husband and the cats who share her desk space. She has authored ten children's books and can't see stopping anytime soon and admits that she often writes and edits while sitting in a minivan.
Miro always loved drawing but it took a while before she attempted it as a career. After getting her masters degree in electronics, she worked for a few years in that field and at night would study illustration tutorials and read graphic design books. Then she was offered a position as a graphic designer in a small company. Since then, she's pursued a graphic design degree while raising two kids and moving countries. She has illustrated several books, including her own.
