Alana S. Portero was born in Madrid in 1978. He is a medievalist by training (UAM); writer, playwright, stage director and co-founder of the theatre company STRIGA by vocation, and working class. She writes about culture, feminism and LGTBIQ+ activism with a specific focus on the reality of trans women for various media, such as Agente Provocador, Eldiario.es, El Salto Diario, SModa and Vogue, as well as on her own Patreon.
