Around the World Adventures of Max and Jack: France

Since she was a young girl, Emily Overton's belief has been that if people knew more about other people from different countries, cultures, religions, and races, the world would be a better place. From this vision stems the series Around the World Adventures of Max and Jack. Each book in the series gives youngsters a fun, safe, and interesting window into another land and the lives of the people who live there. Children are the future of the world, and the values they will carry for life are usually embedded in their minds during childhood. If children around the world read Max and Jack and follow their adventures, hopefully acceptance of other people will be instilled in their minds and the world will be a better place for all in the future. This series combines Emily's desire to help the world as well as illustrating, which happens to be one of her favorite things to do. To make a living from doing what she loves would be a dream come true, Overton says. Emily Overton is the mother of two beautiful children, daughter Rachel and son William. Along with her amazing fiancé, Luke, they reside in Perth, Western Australia.
