Janet Curran lives with her husband Pat and three canine children Waleena, Issa, and Buford. Antoine, the subject of this book and very much part of the family, lives in Fort Collins, Colorado. She has founded multiple non-profit organizations and has served on the board of three local animal shelters. Her most favorite passion project outside of Antoine is her company Do Good 4 Co, a boutique store located in Kansas City. Founded with the hopes to create a "better life for children and animals", she donates all proceeds to a local animal shelter and children's charity.
