Reviews

"I love cookbooks, and I love history, so this is right up my alley...There is a really good variety of recipes from around the world, many not typically included in historical cookbooks, like African, Asian, and South American countries - even Aboriginal Australia is included! Also, as a person with food allergies, I appreciate that she included substitutions and notes for gluten-free and vegan options. The author is a historian who has worked in living history, which lends a lot of authenticity to this cookbook. I can trust that she did extensive research into the recipes included.

There are also stories, histories, and more included throughout, making this a great supplement for your ancient history curriculum."
