Description
Can Christians have fun? Or is fun just a distraction from the urgency of real life and kingdom mission? What does fun mean, anyway, and are all versions of it created equal? Join author and gaming expert Jaclyn S. Parrish as she examines what Scripture says about fun: what it is, how it works, what happens when it goes wrong, and what changes when it's done right. As you walk with Parrish through the pages of the Bible, you'll:
- hear the rhythm of fun echoing throughout Scripture, from Eden to eternity
- discover that to be made in God's image means to partake in all sorts of good fun
- participate in fun beyond just weekends and holidays, letting it infuse the full spectrum of your life--including your leisure and your labor
- learn why fun is not just a part of being human, but essential to being human
