Stroker is the proud author of the acclaimed novel The Chance to Fly as well as the picture book Ali and the Sea Stars.
Gillian Reid is an illustrator from the United Kingdom who now lives in Canada. She has a degree in animation production and also works as a character designer for children's television. She loves to listen to history podcasts while she draws.
Reviews

"Tony Award winner Stroker, the first actor who uses a wheelchair to appear on a Broadway stage, makes her picture book debut...An energetic portrayal of a theater kid. Reid's unlined digital illustrations lend [the story] a sweet-natured, heart-on-their-sleeve vibe." -- Publishers Weekly

"This whimsical ode to performance and collaboration will entrance and entertain." -- Booklist
