About the Author
Richard Platt is the author of Pirate Diary, which won the Kate Greenaway Medal, as well as Egyptian Diary, Castle Diary, and Roman Diary. He has written more than sixty nonfiction books for children. He lives in Kent, England. James Brown is an illustrator and printmaker who worked in textiles for ten years before turning his talents to illustrating for children. He lives in London.
