5* Amazon review - "I was distressed to find I hadn't reviewed this. Which is a shame, because I loved it. I loved how strong of a world this story presented. I loved how the story presents itself as a cultivation story with an emphasis on world building, and I love the fact that the title refers to a stop in cultivation being difficult - not a stop in the story, which shoots forward.
I like the main cast. I like the way it treats the mc (he isn't op, but he has his own skills that make him interesting and likeable), and I love the world building.

Tao Wong rocks at creating and setting a tone, and this story is no exception." - Cameron C.

5* Amazon review - " If you like wuxia and xianxia but feel that the protagonists tend to be too murderous, this is a great novel/series for you.
Decent action and a solid character building arc where the MC has to come to terms with the fact that cultivation means actively striving to be stronger and taking risks." - Olaide

4* Goodreads review - "This was so riveting, I ended up reading through a couple of sittings in less than a day. Really looking forward to the next in the series, although this just came out a few days ago.
The struggle is real." - GaiusPrimus
