About the Author
Pilar Winter Hill is a young Brooklynite and classical violinist studying at the renowned Juilliard Pre-College Program and known globally for her viral performance videos. Arguably the first female African-American International Violin Competition major prizewinner, Pilar aspires to make her mark as a musician, author, actress, and conservationist. She hopes that by sharing her discovery and love of music, she can inspire other children to pursue their own callings.
Olivia Duchess grew up in a musical family. She took violin lessons when she was a child, and she shared a keyboard with her brother, who was also a drummer. Beyond her love of music, Olivia graduated from Leeds University after studying Graphic and Communication Design. She's now an illustrator based in the UK.
