About the Author
Becca Yanniello (she/her) is a public health professional devoted to improving the health of populations, big and small. She holds a master's in public health from UCLA and a bachelor of arts in psychology from the University of Southern California. She is an avid traveler and lifelong learner. But most importantly, she is a mother of 2 beautiful kids.
Emma Wolf (she/her) is an editor at A Kids Co. She was raised in a house full of books and became a voracious reader at an early age. She holds a BA in journalism from the University of Oregon and an MA in book publishing from Portland State University-which is another way of saying she loves words and her home in the Pacific Northwest. In her free time, Emma reads a lot, drinks kombucha, and spends lots of time outside with friends and family, rain or shine.
Rick DeLucco (he/him) is the Creative Director at A Kids Co. Originally from Southern California, he moved to Portland, Oregon, in 2005 where he lives with his amazing wife, Kelly, and their 2 boys, George and Enzo. Rick honed his design and illustration skills in his spare time until getting his first big break at Dark Horse Comics. Now, his work exemplifies everything he loves to do: designing and illustrating empowering kids' stories.
