Description
It's 1942, and a body is discovered on the shoreline of a secret training facility in Canada.
Secret or not, this is Canadian territory, and the murder case belongs to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). Warned to expect suspicion, if not total obstruction, RCMP Miles Lundin must find a murderer in a camp of trained killers. Fortunately, he is joined in the investigation by a visiting "outsider" from Royal Navy intelligence, Lieutenant Commander Ian Fleming.
The questions are clear: who and why? The answers, however, are as murky as the depths of Lake Ontario.

Reviews
"J.R. Seeger shows us once again he's a master of intrigue and mystery. As in his series MIKE4, Seeger's authority, research, and his dramatic weaving of real-world scenarios with flights of imagination that only an intelligence officer might conjure, A Body on the Shoreline belongs in every mystery and WWII library." - Doug Stanton, author of the New York Times bestsellers Horse Soldiers and In Harm's Way
"J.R. Seeger's latest book, A Body on the Shoreline, is magnificent. He has skillfully blended historical fact with thrilling fiction. The dialogue is superb, using language consistent with the period, and his memorable characters and vivid location descriptions bring the book to life. I strongly recommend this book." -Mel Harrison, author and retired senior special agent, Diplomatic Security Service
"On the heels of his great MIKE4 series and evocative Steampunk Raj novels, J.R. Seeger gives us another hero in a World War II whodunnit.
Royal Canadian Mounted Police Staff Sergeant Miles Lundin is handed a conundrum, a murder in a place were facts are hidden and outsiders unwelcome: Camp X - the top secret training base for allied spies and saboteurs on the shore of Lake Ontario.
"The camp's British officials want no interference and try to whitewash Lundin's investigation, but Lundin has other ideas, and when another indomitable officer offers his help, a man none other than Royal Navy Lieutenant Commander Ian Fleming, they launch into what turns out to be a rollicking mystery across the rolling fields and not so tranquil waters of Ontario.
"Seeger's writing and long experience as a clandestine operator shine in this novel and presage another fine thriller espionage series." -James Stejskal, author of Masters of Mayhem and the thriller series, Snake Eater Chronicles
"J.R. is the real deal, having operated at the tip of the spear for decades. This first hand experience and inside knowledge is evident in his writing and his latest mystery A Body in the Shoreline is no different. A must read!" -Anonymous former CIA case officer and curator of "Watches of Espionage"
