About the Author
Dr. Posey has a B.A. in religion from Baylor University, a Masters of Divinity degree from Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta and a Doctor of Ministry from the same school. He has spent the last 14 years as Senior Minister at First UMC Azle. He also served as Senior Minister at First UMC Bedford for five years and at First UMC Midlothian for four years. Prior to Midlothian, he was the pastor at Davis Memorial UMC in North Richland Hills for six years, and the pastor at Kennedale UMC for 3 years. In the late 1990's he was the organizer and facilitator for the first ALPHA confer- ence in the state of Texas after visiting with ALPHA founder Nicky Gumbel in London, England.
