About the Author
Lori Degman is a teacher for the deaf and hard-of-hearing students. She is the winner of Cheerios Spoonfuls of Stories New Author contest. Lori has two grown sons and lives with her husband in Vernon Hills, Illinois. Colin Jack is originally from Vancouver, Canada, and has illustrated several children's books. He currently works at DreamWorks Animation as a story artist and character designer and lives in the Bay Area with his wife and two sons.
