The Outsiders

S. E. Hinton

$10.99 $10.11

We actually just finished this one. I had no idea it was written by a teenager. Amazing! My son really enjoyed it...I think we'll check out the movie next!

Ernest Cline

$17.00 $15.64

This is what we chose to follow The Outsiders. We loved Ready Player One and so far, this one does not disappoint. Lots of great 70s and 80s references!

Amelia Unabridged

Ashley Schumacher

$18.99 $17.47

I wont an ARC of this book from Goodreads and just started it. It's already taken me by surprise. So far, it's the story of a girl from a broken home and her relationship with a friend who takes her in and 'saves' her.

Marisa Reichardt

$18.99 $17.47

This is my son's next 'choice' book for school. I started it first. It might be a little mature for a 12 year old but I'm sure he's going to love it. The story of an earthquake in California that strands two young people together.

We Must Be Brave

Frances Liardet

$17.00 $15.64

I was sent this book in one of my book subscriptions and tried to start it previously. Now, I'm reading it in paper and very intrigued. I love the relationship between the protagonist and the young girl she becomes responsible for but her relationship with her husband is worrying me. A little reminiscent of The War That Saved My Life but for adults.
