WELCOME TO THE PRICE FAMILY LITERARY LEGACY PAGE: Vincent Price • Victoria Price • V.B. Price

Vincent Price began writing at a very early age -- and he continued to write throughout his life. As an English major at Yale University, he studied and wrote poetry. As a young actor, he wrote a play that was produced. Later in life, he wrote multiple books -- mostly about art and cooking. He instilled in his children a love of the written word. Vincent's son, V.B. Price is a distinguished and award-wining poet, essayist, author and journalist. He has written many books of poetry as well as books about New Mexico and the environment. V.B. Price co-wrote two books with Vincent. Vincent's daughter, Victoria Price, wrote a critically-acclaimed biography of her father, updated and wrote the forewards for the new editions of her parents' cookbooks, and has written two books about practical spirituality. She has also written for television, newspapers, and magazine. V.B.'s daughter-in-law Amy Leicher Price is also a writer -- and her new novel is available on this page too! We are so grateful to be able to carry forward Vincent's literary legacy while supporting independent local bookstores!
