SPIES, SPIES, SPIES: The Best of Current and Classic Espionage Fiction
Listed in alphabetical order by author, these are our pick of the finest espionage novels - and one short story anthology - currently in print.
- Check back often - deserving new titles are added regularly.
- All of John le Carre's works of espionage fiction are listed here - beginning with the nine George Smiley novels in chronological order (page 7) followed by his stand-alone novels, also listed chronologically.
- Sadly, some classics of espionage fiction seem to be out of print - most notably the Charlie Muffin novels by Brian Freemantle. They'll be added to this list should they become available again. Until then, see if you can find used copies in bookstores like Walden Pond Books.
(Please note that this is currently an 11-page list.)
