There are far more Black Feminist texts than those that were canonized. This list is by no means a comprehensive account of those B sides of Black Feminism, but it offers an entryway into them. Some are less famous books by well-known authors (like Gayl Jones' Song for Anninho), while others are by less famous authors (like Kathleen Collins' Whatever Happened to Interracial Love?). All of these texts are, however, wonders to read, yielding new insights into a movement that helped to birth our current world and providing new answers to problems assailing us today, to say nothing of their beautiful verse and prose.
