Sierra State Parks Foundation
The Sierra State Parks Foundation (SSPF) was founded to help support projects and educational programs that connect visitors with the rich cultural heritage and natural resources associated with seven California State Parks in the Truckee-Tahoe region. SSPF works closely with California State Parks to fund the most tangible aspects of the visitor experience in those parks.....from staffing to offering nature programs, historic house tours and Junior Ranger programs to interpretive signage, educational programs and historic preservation projects. It also manages the park interpretive stores at Donner-State Park, Sugar Pine Point State Park, D.L Bliss State Park, and Emerald Bay State Park. We invite you to learn more about Sierra Nevada natural and cultural history by purchasing and reading any of the following recommended titles.
