Hi, hello there. It's me, Kosoko Jackson! Happy Holidays and I hope you're staying nice and warm (and safe) wherever you are! This is a perfect time of year for books because it reminds me, when I was younger, and I used to curl up on the couch with a blanket and tea and just...devour literature. I read so many books when I was younger during the cold months. They were my refuge and my safe space. Part of me misses how simple it was back then. No school, a long break, me and my books. Now I have bills, work, expectations, requirements...I find it harder and harder to find time to read. So this winter, I'm falling back in love with reading; dedicating 30 minutes a day to reading. That's my promise to myself. Maybe, if you're struggling too, or looking for a new book, this list of some of my favorite books will help you!
