I Dream of Dinner (So You Don't Have To): Low-Effort, High-Reward Recipes: A Cookbook
Ali Slagle
$29.99 $27.89

Heart Is a Lonely Hunter
Carson McCullers
$17.99 $16.73I've been having a hard time finding time for new books lately to be honest, and instead I've been revisiting old favorites. This book is as good the fourth time as it is the first, if not better. The characters feel so human and true to life, and I find something new to love every time. If you've avoided this book so far, here's your sign to finally give it a go!

The Innocents
Michael Crummey
$16.95I don't even know how this book ends and I'm recommending it anyway. You can always sell me on a lyrical book with dialogue in dialect about hard living and the strange bonds of family. Ada and Evered's story is hard and odd and riveting, and like I said, I'm not even through reading it.

Wolf Hall
Hilary Mantel
$40.00 $37.20I've read this book maybe four times now and I always find something new to love. The 3rd installment isn't out yet but there's a PBS series you can watch to tide you over. Mantel spins Tudor history in such a unique and masterful way. History nerds unite!

Outlawed
Anna North
$17.00 $15.81I'm a girl who loves a Western, "Outlawed" seems like it was literally written for me. I'd call this an alternate history dystopian feminist Western -- and North delivers on all fronts. I wish I'd had this book when I was younger! It's about femininity, family, culture, gender, and cowboys. The titular outlaws are a re-imagined Billy the kid/ Hole in the Wall gang -- a Shakespearean greenwood gender-bending band of bad asses and if you loved all those descriptions or even just a couple, you need this book in your life.

Milkman
Anna Burns
$16.00 $14.88Before you commit to this wordy masterpiece, be warned there are no character names in these pages almost at all. Somehow this works: Milkman is a portrait of a troubled, unstable 1970s Ireland and what it's like to navigate in the fractured, frightened society of Belfast, where your religion, your street, your friends, or even your name can be dangerous.

I'll Be Gone in the Dark: One Woman's Obsessive Search for the Golden State Killer
Michelle McNamara
$17.99 $16.73
