Writing factual-fiction on American history, and specifically the Revolutionary War, means reading a lot of nonfiction, and some factually-based fiction, to capture the actual events and history's truths (even those lesser known). The following is a list of books read during my research, or simply out of a love of history, that can help us time travel from the comforts of home. There is an equal mix of male and female authors here, equally important to me for women often write and research history by looking beyond the battlefields.
