It's Not Self-Help, It's HELP!
By Fred Venturini

Self-help books, by and large, kind of suck? They're padded with useless anecdotes and a lot of filler, and they have more platitudes than strategies. However, I love non-fiction and have done the heavy lifting, reading all the crap so you don't have to, to come up with the absolute must-reads in this popular category.
Credit to George Carlin and his bit on these books: "If you need self-help, why would read a book written by somebody else? That’s not self-help, that’s help! There is no such thing as self-help. If you did it yourself, you didn’t need help!”
Help lies below!
