This past week, the Roanoke County School Board made sweeping changes as to how books can be added to school libraries, creating extra work for librarians while not treating them like the professionals they are, and ultimately taking away options for all children. The Supreme Court ruled on Thursday, striking down restrictions on concealed-carry weapons, and again on Friday, this time overturning Roe V. Wade, taking away access to safe and legal abortions for women in so many states.  We're angry, we're worried, we're sad for our country.
