If you're like me, life often forces your love of books to the backburner. That is why I made a goal for myself for 2020 to start reading more consistently, starting with an attainable Book-A-Month Challenge. I will add each book I read as I go!
J. D. Salinger$16.99 $15.63
January: Holden Caulfield is one of the most entertaining character narrators and his perspective is like no other.
F. Scott Fitzgerald$17.00 $15.64
February: Another classic with a great character narrator and dynamic characters, with some surprising twists and turns. I love Nick's descriptive narration and I enjoyed experiencing secondhand what it was like to be rich in the 1920's and drink mint juleps all day.
Colm Toibin$16.00 $14.72
March: I loved this book so much that I ordered another one of the author's books. The story of how immigrating from Ireland to Brooklyn changed Eilis and caused her to reevaluate how she wants her life to be really resonated with me.
Tom Cox$32.95 $29.66
April: One of my all-time favorites! It's a sort of combination of nature writing and memoir. Tom Cox has both great insight and a great sense of humor.
Michael Pollan$16.00 $14.72
I hope you find enjoyment in one or many of these books!
