Each year, WNBA produces the Great Group Reads list, which is composed of books that are ideal for book groups and book clubs.

While some of the books on the Great Group Reads lists go on to be bestsellers, many books are mid-list titles or come from small publishing houses. These books may be ones you’ve never heard of, but they are incredible books that deserve to be read.

Used by bookstores, libraries, independent book groups, and solo readers, the 2017 Great Group Reads provides 20 titles perfect for group discussions.

The WNBA uses the Great Group Reads lists for its own book club and holds events with Great Group Reads authors throughout the year.

What is Great Group Reads

Each year since 2009, the WNBA puts out the Great Group Reads List, a collection of books that are perfect for groups to read and discuss together. 

Publishers send the Great Group Reads committee hundreds of books for the committee to read with the hope that their book(s) will be chosen for the current year's list.
