Violet Snow


Violet Snow is an author and journalist who specializes in writing about history and ancestors, thanks to the abundance of artifacts her family has passed down. Her fiction and memoir have been published in Otter Magazine, Pilgrimage, Tinker Street, and the podcast series The Strange Recital. A gripping excerpt from her historical novel TO MARCH OR TO MARRY is coming out in the feminist literary magazine Minerva Rising. Her articles have appeared in the New York Times Disunion blog, Civil War Times, Woodstock Times, American Ancestors, Jewish Currents, and many other periodicals. AFTERNOON OF A SADHU is her short memoir about wandering through India on foot at the age of 22.
