Stan Galloway, called by James E. Gunn one of the half-dozen finest Burroughs scholars in the world, teaches English at Bridgewater College in Virginia. He is the author of The Teenage Tarzan (McFarland, 2010). He has edited or written a half-dozen poetry books as well.
