Nagler is president and cofounder of the Metta Center for Nonviolence and professor emeritus of classics and comparative literature and the founder of the Peace and Conο¬ict Studies Program at the University of California, Berkeley. He is the author of The Nonviolence Handbook, Our Spiritual Crisis, and The Search for a Nonviolent Future.
