Born and raised in Hong Kong, Irene came to the US when she was 18, and received her BFA in graphic design from the Savannah College of Art & Design. She has had a successful career in multiple disciplines in design, from digital media to TV and broadcast design. It was the birth of her son in 2012 that prompted her to rekindle the love she has with books, publishing, and creating art for products that touches people in their every day lives. She describes her style as playful, colorful, whimsical, and lively, with motifs and color palettes that are vibrant and happy, and can bring a smile to people's faces. Irene's travels through Europe and Asia, as well as Iceland and Tanzania, have provided vast cultural references for her work. Her artwork now graces greeting cards, children's books, stationery, wall art, puzzles and games, and other home decor products. She now lives with her husband and son in Atlanta, Georgia.
