Clayton Eshleman

Clayton Eshleman is an American poet and translator and professor emeritus at Eastern Michigan University. He has translated the work of Antonin Artaud, César Vallejo, Aimé Césaire, and others. He was awarded the National Book Award for translation in 1979.
