About the Author
Currently, Ehmann lives in Port Charlotte, Florida and is the founder and president of the Charlotte County Anthropological Society. Ehmann did not intend to be an author, faced with the discoveries made while researching the prehistory of his new home, he was compelled to communicate his findings to a larger audience. Because the People of the Great Circle incorporates a call to action, he proceeded in June of 2018 to create a regional anthropological society which has a mission statement that mirrors the rethinking of the prehistoric epoch in south Florida. The society website, https: //charlotteharboras.org is a clearing house for new and advancing research. For the first time in the history of North American anthropology, there is a website dedicated to South Florida prehistory and mound builders. The site is a clearing house for presentations, field trips, research and festivals devoted to prehistoric mound builders in South Florid
