About the Author

Elizabeth Haynes is a former police intelligence analyst whose debut novel, Into the Darkest Corner (2011), was Amazon's Best Book of the Year, a New York Times bestseller and published in 37 countries. Her other psychological thrillers: Revenge of the Tide (2012) and Human Remains (2013) were published by Harper. Her police procedural crime novels, Under a Silent Moon (2013) and Behind Closed Doors (2014) are published by Sphere/Harper Paperbacks. Never Alone was published by Myriad in 2018. The Murder of Harriet Monckton is her first historical crime novel and is based on real events in Victorian London.
