John Matthews (Oxford, UK) is a New York Times bestselling author who has written more than one hundred books on myth, faery, the Arthurian Legends, and Grail Studies. John has appeared on the History Channel and Discovery Channel, and he was an advisor and contributor on Jerry Bruckheimer's film King Arthur. Gareth Knight has spent close to four decades actively investigating and writing about the Western Magical Tradition and the Qabalistic symbolism. He is one of the world's foremost authorities on magic and the active use of symbolism. In 1976 he was awarded an honorary doctorate for his work in the field, and he has acted as a consultant for Jungian analysis and for television producers in the area of archetypal symbolism. Mr. Knight now lives in his native Essex in England.

"Matthews, a historian of Arthurian legends, and Knight, a researcher of Western magical traditions, team up again (after Arthurian Magic) in this piquant exploration of the Holy Grail and what has happened to those who tried to find it. ... Any reader intrigued by the Holy Grail's historical trail will love this."--Publishers Weekly
