About the Author

Linda Greiner fell in love with Shelties when doing research on what type of dog to get for her sixteenth birthday. Many years later, instead of purchasing another puppy, she decided to contact the Shetland Sheepdog Placement Services of New Jersey and adopted Sashi in 2001. Hoping to find a suitable brother or sister for "the princess", Linda started fostering for SSPSNJ in 2003. Each dog has a tale to tell.

Morgan Spiceris the founder of Bark Point Studio, an illustrator, concept/character designer, animal advocate, ethical vegan, TV/film fanatic, and the proud parent of three rescue dogs. Morgan lives in New York and has illustrated fifteen books while also creating custom animal art for her Bark Point Studio followers. A percentage of a lot of these commissions is donated to animal rescues and shelters across the country. It is her ultimate goal to open an animal rescue, sanctuary, and studio (Bark Pointé) to continue educating youth about the magic, friendship, and responsibility that comes with animal companionship.

Reviews

"In Linda Greiner's first book, Sashi, the Scared Little Sheltie, our hero blossomed into a wonderful Sheltie, having received the proper love and training she needed and deserved. In this sequel, Sashi gets to meet many new Shelties as her family becomes fosters for local rescue. Each foster teaches Sashi something new, but eventually one will become her new 'brother' as she introduces him to her world. These are wonderful books for children, full of gorgeous color pictures, and they are easy to read. They are perfect for my niece's bedtime." -- Dorothy Christiansen, Founder and CFO, National Sheltie Rescue Network "Praise for Sashi Adopts a Brother"
