About the Author

Glenn Erick Miller is the author of the young adult novel "Camper Girl" and the prizewinning children's book "What Can it Become"? His writing has also appeared in numerous literary journals. He earned an MA in English from SUNY Binghamton and has been a college professor, youth counselor, and small business owner. Christina L. Allen lives in southern Maryland on a small sustainable farm with her husband, cat, flock of sheep, rare Jersey Buff heritage turkeys, and heritage chickens. She also is a handweaver and spinner. Plants, trees, flowers, and organic farming are also an important part of her life and work. She is the founder of Cycling Without Age, St. Mary's County. She has been a professional artist for almost 40 years. The rural life and the beautiful Chesapeake Bay find their way into many of her paintings. Christina's illustrated internationally published children's books have received seven national book awards. Fine children's books are published with her micro-publishing company, Corn Crib Studio & Publishing.
