Raw: The Uncook Book: New Vegetarian Food for Life
Description
Raw: The Uncook Book captures the infectious spirit and boundless creativity of its 28-year-old inventor, Juliano, a reformed McDonald's junkie who stopped eating meat, fish, chemicals, and dairy; threw out every heat source in his kitchen; and devoted himself to a steady diet of fruits, vegetables and yoga. His inventive preparation and genius for fusing tastes moves health food beyond salad and makes eating raw a viable daily alternative. This fabulous book provides all the techniques and recipes-including pizzas, pastas, burritos, and ice cream-that have made Juliano's Raw Living Foods restaurant one of San Francisco's most popular eateries.
