About the Author
Samantha Sanchez was born and raised in New York. She converted to Islam in 1997 and celebrated her first Ramadan shortly after. Her interests in food traditions among cultures of the world is what inspires her. She is a self described foodie. A home cook, with a love of experimentation with different cuisines, she has been collecting recipes from friends and family since she was a young girl, always adding her own twist. Samantha loves to travel and explore new cultures. She lives with her multicultural family in New Jersey where she cooks with love and plays their family version of "Chopped." She enjoys creating Ramadan and Eid traditions with her family.
