About the Author
Polar Bear and the UFO is Cynthia Huijgens' first rhyming picture book story. She also writes fiction for 11-14 year olds and her Boy Between Worlds series launches with The Cabinet of Curiosities in October 2020. Cynthia holds a Master's Degree in Education, is a certified K-12 Art Teacher, and graduated from Simon Fraser University's The Writer's Studio. When not working as an art director on a film somewhere, Anne Costa is busy at the drawing table and pestering her cat Squid. She was born in the tropics, raised on the east coast, migrated west for the good weather and education, and currently calls California her home.
