Christine B. Gordon, MATS, is wife to Michael and mother of three. She earned her master of arts in theological studies at Covenant Seminary. She currently works as a bookkeeper in St. Louis. She loves to walk, make music with other people, and sew badly crafted baby blankets.

"Christine and Hope are good gospel friends who remind us to fix our eyes on Jesus rather than our circumstances. They underscore that He will sustain our joy in the midst of suffering, anxiety, discord and discontentment. They also point us to the reality that He is the source of our joy in service, compassion and generosity towards others. This study provides an accessible tool to help women meaningfully engage with the book of Philippians."
Karen Hodge- Coordinator for Women's Ministry for the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA).

"I have not found a book that does a better job of diving into the depths of Philippians in such a practical way. The theological and practical applications are beautifully woven together to give any woman a longing to study God's word and know Him better. It is rare to find a study, specifically for women, that teaches the historical context of the Bible and simultaneously provides practical application to the text."
Casey Cockrum, M.S., Director of Female Campus Staff, Reformed University Fellowship

"Chris and Hope know we women are busy. Having a study like this on the book of Philippians is a hearty snack for my soul. I want to have time to learn about Paul's letters to the Church while also going about my daily, busy life. This book offers me that. I am able to get a hearty dose of God's truth as well as read a fab commentary and then go about my life as a wife, mom and school counselor. Thankful for this book."
Mollie Pfuetze, MAC, Middle School Counselor, Westminster Christian Academy
