About the Author

Fox Benwell is a perpetual student of the world, a writer, adventurer, and wannabe-knight, who holds degrees in international education and writing for young people, and believes in the power of both to change the world. When he's not writing or teaching, he sings barbershop with The Great Western Chorus; music is pretty good at changing the world, too. He is the author of The Last Leaves Falling and Kaleidoscope Song.
Kate Hart has worked as a teacher and grantwriter and currently builds treehouses. She is a blogger for YA Highway and hosts the Badass Ladies You Should Know series online. After the Fall is her first novel. She lives in northwest Arkansas.

Katherine Locke lives in a very small town outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with her feline overlords. In addition to fiction, she writes about books and reading and has contributed to The Forward, The GayYA, Teen Librarian Toolbox, and other sites. The Girl with the Red Balloon was her YA debut.

Caleb Roehrig's debut YA thriller, Last Seen Leaving, was called one of the Best YA Novels of 2016 by Buzzfeed.com. Caleb lives with his husband in Los Angeles.
Eliot Schrefer's Endangered and Threatened were named as finalists for the National Book Award. He is also the author of The Deadly Sister, The School for Dangerous Girls, Glamorous Disasters, and The New Kid. He lives in New York City. Visit him online at www.eliotschrefer.com.

Will Kostakis is an award-winning author, but his real claims to fame are a Twitter spat with Guy Sebastian, and that time a member of Destiny's Child said his name. Visit willkostakis.com to find out more.

Jessica Verdi is the author of several books for children and young adults--including And She Was, What You Left Behind, The Summer I Wasn't Me, and My Life After Now. I'm Not a Girl is her debut picture book. Jess lives in New York with her family and loves traveling, seltzer, hot sauce, TV, theatre, vegetarian soup, leggings, flip-flops, and all animals.
Saundra Mitchell has been a phone psychic, a car salesperson, a denture-deliverer and a layout waxer. She's dodged trains, endured basic training, and hitchhiked from Montana to California. She teaches herself languages, raises children, and makes paper for fun. She is the author of Shadowed Summer, The Vespertine series, and the editor of Defy the Dark and All Out. She always picks truth; dare is too easy. Visit her online at www.saundramitchell.com.
