About the Author
Bess Taubman combines the unique talents as writer, designer and publisher creating dynamic, educational products about historical subjects. She has been writing about the Pearl Harbor story for over twenty years. Presenting the reader an exceptional way to learn about complex subjects by bringing history to life, Ms. Taubman is helping to reshape the way historical information is introduced with welcoming, vibrant designs and text. This is her first book. She lives in Phoenix, Arizona with her husband and daughter.
ERNEST ARROYO, a retired production manager for a national printing firm, has been a student of US Naval history for more than 50 years. In 2001 he wrote the acclaimed book Pearl Harbor published by Pacific Historic Parks and is coauthor of Attack on Pearl Harbor, formally East Wind Rain, a highly popular pictorial account of the Pearl Harbor attack. He is also coauthor of My Pearl Harbor Scrapbook � 1941. Ernie lives and writes at his home in Stratford, Connecticut.
