About the Author
Yoko Tawada (b. 1960) is an exophonic writer: a non-native speaker of German who writes prose, poetry and dramatic texts in her adopted language. She also writes in her mother tongue, Japanese. Tawada has been living in Germany since 1982 and learned the German language as an adult. Her signature short prose texts are part essay, part short story, and blur the boundaries between autobiography and fiction.
Paul Woodson has lived in the U.S. and England, received his BFA in acting at Boston University, and has been acting and singing since the age of thirteen. He has recorded close to 150 audiobooks in many different genres--including romance, fiction, history, biography, and mystery-and has performed in over 100 stage productions across the USA and Europe. He enjoys backpacking the Appalachian Trail in his spare time. He is a member of AEA and SAG-AFTRA.
Christa Lewis is a classically trained actress who graduated from Boston University. She got her start in voice acting at the international television station DW-TV, and she has been a regular on hundreds of cartoons, museum guides, documentaries, and commercials. Now a full-time audiobook narrator with over sixty titles to her credit, she has been featured in AudioFile Magazine, has earned multiple Earphones Awards, and is an Audible bestselling narrator. She lives in Los Angeles.
