James Garner has starred in numerous television shows and films, from Maverick and The Rockford Files to The Great Escape with Steve McQueen and Victor Victoria with Julie Andrews.
JACK KELLY is a journalist, novelist, and historian, whose books include Band of Giants, which received the DAR's History Award Medal. He has contributed to national periodicals including The Wall Street Journal and is a New York Foundation for the Arts fellow. He has appeared on The History Channel and interviewed on National Public Radio. He grew up in a town in the canal corridor adjacent to Palmyra, Joseph Smith's home. He lives in New York's Hudson Valley.
In a theatre career that was launched in the early 1950s, Joel Grey's credits include Chekhov's The Cherry Orchard (Roundabout), Anything Goes, Wicked, Chicago, George M! (Tony Award nom.), and Cabaret (Tony Award). He was Ned Weeks in the Public Theatre's original off-Broadway production of Larry Kramer's seminal play, The Normal Heart, in 1986, and co-directed the Tony Award-winning Broadway premiere in 2011. Film credits include Cabaret (Academy Award), Buffalo Bill and the Indians, Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins, Dancer In the Dark, The Seven Percent Solution, and many more. Joel is also an internationally exhibited photographer with four published books, Pictures I Had to Take (2003), Looking Hard at Unexamined Things (2006), 1.3: Images From My Phone (2009), and The Billboard Papers (2013). His work is part of the permanent collection of The Whitney Museum of American Art. His memoir, Master of Ceremonies, was released in 2016 (Flatiron Press).
Jean-Michel Cousteau is president of Ocean Futures Society, which is dedicated to communicating with the public on critical marine issues and helping to activate action partnerships amongst decision makers.
In addition to his work as an actor, director, and producer, Robert Redford has been a noted environmentalist since the early 1970s. His advocacy has covered a wide spectrum of environmental and conservation issues including involvement in the passage of many landmark pieces of environmental legislation, and the preservation of those protections in ensuing years. He has been a trustee of the Natural Resources Defense Council for twenty-six years.
Vicki Goldberg is one of the country's leading photography critics. She is the author of "The Power of Photography: How Photography Changed Our Lives" and "Margaret Bourke-White: A Biography." She writes frequently for the "New York Times" and "Vanity Fair."
Sue Hostetler has traveled the world as a social documentary photographer capturing civil unrest and the delivery of medical aid to wartorn areas such as Rwanda, Chechnya, Azerbaijan, Guatemala, and Cuba. She now works as a photo editor. As well as conceiving and compiling "Oceans," Sue orchestrated the benefit auctions in New York and San Francisco, which will support the NRDC, and that accompany the release of the book. She lives in New York City.
