About the Author

Felix Leclerc was an internationally acclaimed singer and poet. He received numerous awards in his lifetime, including the prestigious Grand Prix de l'Academie Charles-Cros in France and the Calixa-Lavallee and the Denise-Pelletier awards. He was posthumously inducted in the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame. Marie Lafrance is an award-winning children's book illustrator of books that include La Diablesse and the Baby, a Governor General's Literary Award finalist; La fee des bonbons; and Le Grand voyage de monsieur Caca. She lives in Montreal, Quebec.
