Mega-City One, city of the future. This vast urban hell on the east coast of post-apocalyptic North America is now home to only 50 million citizens, the other 350 million wiped out in the recent Day of Chaos disaster. While investigating a murder at the Chaos Day Memorial, Dredd comes across a slave ring in which people are being sent into the bowls of the earth to rob the bodies of the dead. Yodie - one of those forced into this harrowing labour, finds a technologically advanced bracelet that bestows tremendous power on whoever wears it.
