About the Author
I am a graphic artist by trade and set out on this journey, almost in mistake, 15 years ago as a newly wed to my Iranian husband. There were no Persian cookbooks available in Australia and I decided to compile the recipes I was learning from my husband, our friends and my journeys to Iran. At first it was just for myself, but as I cooked Persian for friends and family I saw how inspiring the cooking and food was for them, I decided to make the recipes available to everyone. I love cooking Persian food and have been fortunate on several occasions to experience Persia and all it has to offer. Its alluring food, picturesque countryside, rich history and culture and hospitable people.
