About the Author

Michael Arnzen, gorelets.com, teaches full-time in the MFA in Writing Popular Fiction program at Seton Hill University, and has been publishing sick and funny horror for about twenty-five years. He holds four Bram Stoker Awards and is author of the novels, Grave Markings and Play Dead. You can catch up with "the best of Arnzen" in the recent re-release of his Bram Stoker Award-winning collection, Proverbs for Monsters from Dark Regions Press. Look for his series, "55 Ways I'd Prefer Not To Die," in The Year's Best Hardcore Horror in 2017.
Michael Bailey is the Senior Country Advisor for the mPowering Frontline Health Workers Partnership. He has worked in the development and management of software applications for distance education and decision-making support for over 15 years. While with Johns Hopkins Bloomberg
School of Public Health Center for Communication Programs, he designed and developed training systems for strategic health communication and leadership in many countries, a primary medical training system in Egypt for pharmacists, the national decision-support system for the Government
of Jordan and has supported the adaptation and deployment of mobile-based distance learning program for midwives in Nigeria and frontline health workers in India and Pakistan.
Saba Syed Razvi is the author of In the Crocodile Gardens (Agape Editions, 2016), Limerence and Lux (Chax Press, 2016), Of the Divining and the Dead (Finishing Line Press, 2012), and the forthcoming collection heliophobia. Her poems have appeared in journals such as The Offending Adam, Diner, TheTHE Poetry Blog's Infoxicated Corner, The Homestead Review, NonBinary Review, 10x3 plus, 13th Warrior Review, The Arbor Vitae Review, and Arsenic Lobster, among others, as well as in anthologies such as Voices of Resistance: Muslim Women on War Faith and Sexuality, The Loudest Voice Anthology, The Liddell Book of Poetry, Political Punch: Contemporary Poems on the Politics of Identity, The Rhysling Award Nominee Anthology, The 2015 Independent Best American Poetry anthology, and others. Her poems have been nominated for the Best of the Net Award, the Rhysling Award, and have won a 2015 Independent Best American Poetry Award. She is currently an Assistant Professor of English and Creative Writing at the University of Houston in Victoria, TX, where in addition to teaching, she is working on scholarly research on interfaces between science and contemporary poetry, on Sufi poetry in translation, and on writing new poems and fiction.
